Nathalie Emmanuel

Nathalie Emmanuel is a British actor best known for the role of Missandei in HBO's massive fantasies "Game of Thrones". (HBO 2011-19). Emmanuel is a native of England, born and was raised in Southend-on-the-Sea in Essex's famous seaside town was always interested in performing. She noticed her mother's interest and started enrolling her in dancing, singing and acting classes at the age of was just 3 years old. Emmanuel developed quickly as a actor and, by the mid-90s, she had portrayed the character of Nala as Nala in"The Lion King," a West End show of the critically acclaimed musical "The The Lion King." As she grew into an adult, Emmanuel began auditioning for parts in television and movies. Her breakthrough came in 2007 when she was cast as Sasha Valentine, a British soap-opera "Hollyoaks", (Channel 4 95-). Emmanuel played Sasha Valentine for four years until she left Hollyoaks in 2010. Emmanuel received her biggest breakthrough on HBO "Game of Thrones" 3 years later in the role of Missandei. This character will be the voice of Daenerys' Targaryen persona (portrayed by Emilia Clarke).
